The House of the Hollyhocks is Nestled in the peaceful Charente Maritime countryside, in the small hamlet of Montdurand in the commune of Merignac (not to be confused with Merignac in Bordeaux), about 45 mins drive away from the Beautiful city of Bordeaux and historic towns of Cognac and Angouleme. Surrounded by Vines, and in the summer fields of Sunflowers, our gite offers a quiet escape surrounded by nature.
You can also enjoy sunny days at the beach. The seaside resorts of Royan (1hr), the Arcachon basin (90mins) and La Rochelle (2hrs) are just a car journey away.

A €1,000 security deposit will also be required before arrival.

Our stays are Saturday to Saturday.
Check in from 4pm and check out before 10am.
